Giving children and youth a next step in life.

Breaking the cycle of poverty and purposelessness on Uganda’s islands through Christ-centred, church-anchored care.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them…” Matthew 19:14

Our model

Three pillars, one purpose

We meet children and youth spiritually, educationally and economically  because lasting change needs all three to hold together.

Faith

Evangelism, Bible teaching, discipleship and Christian character — the engine of everything we do, not an add-on.

Education

School access and retention, skills development and life preparation — keeping children in school and forming character.

Provision / Skills

Meeting essential needs and building income capacity — moving families from dependency to dignified self-reliance.

Life on the water

Moments from the islands

A glimpse of the children, youth and communities we walk alongside on Kisma 1, Kisma 2 and the lakeshore.

Our theory of change

How a next step is taken

When a vulnerable child knows Jesus, stays in school and learns a skill, the cycle of poverty and purposelessness is broken — and they become disciple-makers and community-builders in turn.

Knows Jesus

The Gospel is shared and discipleship begins in a safe, loving space.

Stays in school

Fees, materials and mentoring keep a child learning and growing.

Gains a skill

Vocational training and enterprise build real income capacity.

Builds others

A disciple-maker who lifts family and neighbours out of poverty.

Flagship vision

The Youth Skilling & Discipleship Centre

A permanent hub that combines vocational and small-business training with intentional discipleship, giving youth a clear pathway from dependency to dignified, faith-rooted livelihood.

Alongside it, our sustainable development enterprises employ youth from our programme and steadily finance the ministry’s own work, a community that increasingly funds its own next step.
