Fifteen children begin their next step this term

This term, fifteen new children on Kisma and in Soweto started school with fees, uniforms and a partner church walking beside them.

Every school term begins with the same question for many island families: can we keep our child in school this year? For fifteen children this term, the answer is finally yes.

More than fees

Sponsorship covers fees, uniforms and materials — but the deeper change is that each child is now known by a local church that will walk with them for years, not weeks.

“We do not want to be the lasting structure of care. The church is. We simply help them carry it.”

We will share their stories through the year as they settle into class, make friends, and take their next step.

Be part of the next step.

Every story here is made possible by people who choose to give. Help a child take their next step.
